We finished a simple stair replacement that made all the difference at this Key West home. This wood-framed, stilt house was constructed in the late 70s. Proper attention and materials were given to the main structure, however, the stairs were severely lacking in all regards. Built using the bare minimum, the original stairs were non-compliant, unsafe, not structurally sound, nor aesthetically pleasing.

Our Barracuda crew demolished and disposed of the old stairs in its entirety—rails, posts, treads, landings, framing, stringers, and all. We then started to construct new stairs from the ground up.
